Amidst the roar of the titanium production workshop, there is the most touching scenery – the blossoming smiley faces, hotter than the flames in the furnace and more brilliant than the shine of the titanium metal surface. They are the notes beating on the production line, composing the company’s song of struggle, love and growth.
From promoting the localisation of domestic medical titanium materials to supporting the development of the aerospace industry, we have spared no effort to help our customers gain a competitive advantage.
In Xinnuo Titanium’s workshop, every process of titanium production is in order. After the raw material is poured into the electric arc furnace, the high temperature quickly melts it into steel, a process that requires workers to constantly monitor the temperature and composition to ensure the basic quality of the titanium alloy. The red ingots are then fed into the forging machine, where they are repeatedly struck and shaped under enormous pressure to gradually form the required billets. During this time, the forging masters are fully concentrated, adjusting the parameters as the billet changes so that each forging is precise. It is this attitude to excellence that has seen the company’s proprietary “ultra-high-strength titanium alloy” technology win second prize in the National Technical Invention Award.
In the quality control area, Xiao Chen, a technician at the age of 95, holds a microscope with a confident smile on her face. She concentrates on observing the microstructure of the titanium, occasionally exchanging ideas and discussing with her colleagues. The quality inspection of titanium material is crucial, not only to determine its mechanical properties and chemical composition, but also to observe the microstructure through the microscope to ensure that there are no internal defects. After three years on the job, the company has given her the opportunity to work on major research projects, but has also arranged for experts to give her one-on-one guidance. “Here, every test is an insistence on quality, and every advance is supported by the team.” The light in Xiao Chen’s eyes is as bright as the smile on her face. Relying on such a professional quality inspection team, the company’s product qualification rate has been maintained at over 99.8% for a long time, and it has obtained a number of authoritative qualifications, such as ISO9001 International Quality Management System Certification.
